About the Airport Planning, Development and Environmental Management Course
The overall objective of this course is to improve the knowledge of airport managers with regard to contemporary best practices in the area of airport infrastructure planning and development. The course will outline ways of optimizing airport facilities, of providing the required capacity on a timely basis and of providing airport users with levels of service that are consistent with the objectives and orientations set out in Airport Strategic Business Plans.
This AMPAP mandatory course is delivered in an asynchronous learning method over a 4-week period via a dedicated platform. The course includes a mix of once-weekly interaction with the instructor(s), readings and mastery tests, one individual assignment, one group assignment, and one final exam. This unique delivery format facilitates candidates with their on-the-job responsibilities.
