With the Olympics running, we thought it would be good timing to talk about a speed record.

Herbert Judon, Assistant Aviation Director of Operations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, recently completed his IAP in an astounding five months and four days.  He also became the first IAP in the state of North Carolina.  Herbert began his (short) IAP journey on May 20, 2013 at the ATS in Ft. Lauderdale.  He finished up with the ACF on October 24, 2013.  His time to the IAP eclipses the old mark established by Robert Kennedy, now Aviation Strategies International’s Vice President, Consulting.  Said Paul Behnke, an instructor during Herbert’s ATS:  “When we met Herbert in the ATS, we immediately saw his leadership skills and his commitment to the programme.  We congratulate him on his rapid rise to earn his IAP.”
